Why
Leave is required under section 17(2) of the Crown Liability and Proceedings Act, 2019 before a civil claim may proceed against the Crown for prosecutorial conduct.
The Crown is currently considering our request to waive this requirement pursuant to section 17(11) of the Crown Liability and Proceedings Act, 2019. If a waiver is granted, the motion will be abandoned and the proceeding will resume. Please check back for updates.
